Bridge II Sports is excited to offer a Veteran fitness program. Bridge II Sports will send out at least 1 challenge per month to encourage participants to stay active and connected. We will be hosting these challenges on the MoveSpring platform. This platform will let us set up team and individual challenges. It will also allow for communication through the mobile app.

 

Don't have a Fitbit® ? Don't worry! With MoveSpring, you can use other tracking devices such as: Apple Watch, iphone, Apple Health, Android, Google Fit, Garmin, Misfit, and Withings. You can also participate by just using the mobile app.  It is important that you follow the onboarding directions that are sent to join MoveSpring to make sure you are placed in the MoveSpring VFC Community.

 

How do I participate?

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the application on the following pages. You will need to confirm that you have consulted with your Doctor about your participation in this program.  

 

 

Although moderate physical activity such as brisk walking is safe for most people, health experts suggest that you talk to your doctor before you start an exercise program particularly if any of the following apply:

  • You have heart disease.
  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
  • You have kidney disease.
  • You have arthritis.
  • You're being treated for cancer, or you've recently completed cancer treatment.
  • You have high blood pressure.

If you're unsure of your health status, have multiple health problems or are pregnant, speak with your doctor before starting a new exercise program. Working with your doctor ahead of time can help you plan the exercise program that's right for you.
