Hiking - Al Buehler Trail in Durham 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Description

Let’s go Hiking with Bridge II Sports and enjoy our great outdoors.   

This program will be offered to athletes who have a physical disability or visual impairment. We will have an experienced hiking guide with trained volunteers to assist as needed.  

The hike will be at the Al Buehler Trail in Duke Forest: 3001 Cameron Blvd. Durham, NC 27705

Hiking poles suggested, though not required.   

This trail is inaccessible for wheelchair use.

Bridge II Sports Hiking Policy During Covid - 19

  • All participants in programming must: -REGISTER—no ‘walk-ups’ will be permitted
  • Sign the new Move United (formerly DSUSA) COVID-19 Program Waiver
  • Wear a mask that covers nose and mouth throughout the entirety of the program.
  • Maintain at least 6 feet of social distance from other participants.
  • Bring hand sanitizer and practice good hand hygiene while participating.
  • NOT ATTEND, if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, etc.)
  • NOT ATTEND, if they have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has/had symptoms within 14 days prior to the program date
  • Current Bridge II Sports members are not charged a fee when they log in to register.
